The Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Factory Manager to partner with our Factory Manager and lead our factory to maintain high performance in alignment with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and facilitate clear and efficient communication within the factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic operational oversight and lead the factory team to achieve objectives in safety, quality, cost, and service level commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with company principles, policies, local laws, and regulations, including health, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze production data and make data-driven decisions to optimize factory operations.
  • Develop and mentor the factory management team and staff, focusing on performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Foster positive employee and labor relations, prioritizing a People First approach.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the surrounding community, leveraging the Corporate Community Affairs group.
  • Implement Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) principles to drive continuous improvement throughout the factory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with factory budgets.
  • Experience with Total Performance Management (TPM) or Lean Management Principles is preferred.
  • Technical bachelor's degree is preferred.
