Job Overview
V R Della Infotech Inc is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in the Cardiovascular Invasive department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting cardiologists in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac/vascular procedures.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and experience working with equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists in performing invasive coronary/vascular/EP diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures using specific techniques.
- Set up and operate various electrical/imaging equipment and computers.
- Display good judgement and problem-solving skills to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Provide care to patients undergoing coronary invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Recognize and assist in treatment of any complications arising from cardiac/vascular/EP diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of applicable experience.
- Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and fluoroscopic anatomy and physiology involved in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures.
- Ability to set up sterile tables with appropriate supplies specific to each procedure performed within the area.
- Knowledge of correct preparation and draping of patients.
- Extensive knowledge of use and function of supplies specific to cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- ARRT Registration in Radiology.

Education and Certifications
A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Preferred certifications include IEMA (Illinois state) License in Rad Technology, BLS (American Heart Assoc.), ACLS (American Heart Assoc.).
Languages and Schedule
Fluent English language skills are required, with basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser. A standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with a rotation of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
