Pediatric Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team in the Tampa and Wesley Chapel area.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting, with an emphasis on diabetes management.
- Collaborate closely with a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist to manage patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Educate patients and families about endocrine disorders, management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in inpatient service at All Children's Hospital for one week every six weeks, ensuring continuity of care for hospitalized patients.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Master's degree in Nursing, PNP-AC, PNP-PC or FNP or Physician Assistant program with a focus on pediatric care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably in pediatrics or endocrinology.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development; extensive training will be provided.
