PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert respiratory care to critically ill patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency calls and evaluate patient needs for airway care and secretion removal.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
- RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred to start, required with 6 months of start date.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
