About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Harman International Industries. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video, and control systems.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video, and control systems.
  • Participate in the lifecycle of a software product, including requirement management, design, development, testing, integration, and release management.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop software products using agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrate an ability to think beyond the technology itself and understand key business drivers that ensure technology investment will provide substantial value or improvements to customers.

What You Need

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting and developing large-scale software applications in C++/C#.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript.
  • Experience with building highly scalable APIs supporting large high-volume mission-critical environments.
  • Experience building cross-platform applications.

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of OpenGL/WebGL.
  • Knowledge of Angular.
  • Understanding of Professional Solutions in the domain of Audio, Video, Lighting, and Control.
  • Knowledge of audio signal processing or audio technologies.
  • Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment and familiarity with relevant tools.
