Job Title: Part-Time After Care Staff

Davidson Academy is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Part-Time After Care Staff member. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous supervision and support to students during after-school hours.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver instructional content and activities as outlined in lesson plans, adapting to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Supervise students during transitions, recess, and lunch, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and any relevant observations or incidents.
  • Protect the safety and confidentiality of students, adhering to school procedures and protocols.
  • Treat all students with respect, fairness, and in a manner consistent with Christian principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education or a related field (preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification or license (preferred, but not always required for substitute positions).
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Christian values and a commitment to upholding the school's religious principles.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
