Pharmacist / PRN Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospitals. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times, correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged, and develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.

• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Minimum requirements:

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.
