Job Description

This role involves helping civilian agencies like the Department of Homeland Security achieve their mission goals through cloud adoption. As a Cloud Architect, you will design and implement cloud computing architectures for our clients, leveraging your expertise in AWS technologies and software development. Your responsibilities will include owning technical engagements, defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
  • Defining implementation architectures and responding to RFPs
  • Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application construction using the AWS platform
  • Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be $160,000 - $220,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
