Role Overview:

As a Cloud Security Solutions Architect at Sidram Technologies LLC, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will help us ensure robust security measures are in place to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate operating system processes, including scripting and patch management for both Linux and Windows servers in a cloud environment.
  • Implement and oversee cloud security mechanisms, focusing on encryption, identity management, logging, and auditing protocols.
  • Investigate security alerts and incidents utilizing SIEM/SOAR platforms, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Detect and correct cloud misconfigurations and compliance challenges through automation and scripting techniques.
  • Formulate and revise cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Engage in incident response initiatives, conducting thorough investigations, root cause analyses, and remediation strategies.
  • Continuously monitor cloud ecosystems for security breaches, unauthorized access, and other incidents, responding effectively to mitigate risks.
  • Provide support to cloud clients through guidance on cloud-native architecture, security frameworks, and policy enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT service management functions (Change, Incident, Problem, Request management) as they relate to tools and platforms utilized by the team.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in AWS and Azure, with hands-on experience in architecting and managing at least one, along with familiarity with the other (knowledge of GCP is advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, concepts, and best practices.
  • Solid grasp of operating system fundamentals (Windows or Linux) and associated security principles.
  • Experience in cloud security practices within AWS or Azure (GCP experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Practical experience in patching and hardening Linux and Windows systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR technologies.
  • Competence in analyzing security logs, including Cloud Trail, VPC Flow Logs, S3 Access Logs, Azure Activity Logs, NSG Flow Logs, and Storage account logs.
  • Experience with cloud security tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or GCP Security Command Center.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • General experience with IT service management processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Request management) in an enterprise setting.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer are beneficial.
