The Operations Support Analyst will be stationed at Headquarters MARFOREUR/AF. This role is crucial in assisting the AC/S for Operations (G3) and serves as the primary action officer for facilitating essential organizational events and executing vital information management tasks. Additionally, the analyst will undertake various administrative and financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate significant organizational events
  • Manage information within the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE)
  • Support the management of the Training, Exercises, and Employment Plan (TEEP)
  • Execute Global Force Management (GFM) tasks, including responding to GFM Allocation Plan (GFMAP) modifications, conducting Request for Forces (RFF) actions, and coordinating GFM matters for internal and external meetings
  • Assist in the deployment planning of Marine forces using the Force Management Tool (FMT) and the Joint Training Tool (JTT)
  • Support document management to ensure proper record preservation
  • Assist in fiscal planning and budgeting processes
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the G3 as needed
  • Review official travel authorizations and vouchers as a DTS Routing Official

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of directly related military experience; or 15 years of directly related military experience.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship, a valid U.S. Driver's License, and a valid U.S. tourist passport.
  • Possession of a U.S. Secret or higher-level clearance.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States and the EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility.
  • Ability to work extended hours to support surge requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to brief senior military leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) concepts is preferred.
