Job Summary:Restore Therapy is seeking a skilled Audiologist (PRN) to join our team at Ocala Health & Rehab. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests, coordinating and interpreting test results, and consulting with physicians to develop effective treatment plans for patients with hearing disorders.
Responsibilities:
• Administer diagnostic audiological tests, including otoscopy, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and pure-tone air and bone conduction testing.
• Interpret test results and consult with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients with hearing disorders.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on test findings and management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and test results.
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AUD) prior to employment start date.
• Current and valid Audiology license in the state employed.
• Completion of post-secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow oral and written direction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
