About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Team Leader in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment that delights our customers and employees. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and modeling product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assisting with scheduling employees, providing training, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Managing merchandise, including receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking, and rotating merchandise on shelves and building displays.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
  • Ensuring financial integrity of the store through cash accountability, key control, and adherence to security practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a specialty retail environment, preferably.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and operate tools such as cash registers and scanners.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, facility controls, and safety protocols.
What We Offer

pOpshelf offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
