Associate Professor of Information Technology and Department Chair

Kennesaw State University is seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor or Professor of Information Technology to serve as the Associate Chair of the Department of Information Technology. This is a full-time, tenure-track position with a preferred start date of January 2025.
Responsibilities- Teach information technology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in various modalities, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats.
- Develop and maintain an active research agenda, with a focus on mentoring junior faculty and elevating the department's research profile.
- Lead the department's research development, including exploring funding opportunities with federal, state, local, and industrial stakeholders.
- Engage in service activities within the department, college, university, or professional community.
- Ph.D. degree in a computing discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data and Information Science, or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering.
- A well-established research record, including intensive funding.
