About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Procedures Tech II to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Special Procedures Tech II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status).
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic images; reviews quality of radiographs to insure quality standards have been met.
- Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
Requirements:
- Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Minimum of 1- 3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
