Position Summary

The Millwright is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal production interruptions. This role involves performing preventive maintenance tasks, lubricating and adjusting machinery, and responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing mechanical tasks such as welding, fitting, and burning.
  • Contributing to a high-performance, team-oriented work environment.
  • Operating various manual tools, including wrenches, overhead cranes, and lift trucks.
  • Utilizing standard inspection and measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
  • Maintaining a full range of physical mobility.
  • Understanding and following instructions while learning methods and practices.
  • Providing personal hand tools for job execution.
  • Performing complex rigging and lifting operations to support maintenance tasks; operating mobile equipment like man-lifts and lull trucks.
  • Interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and process diagrams.
  • Selecting and using personal protective equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Training apprentices and other team members as needed.
