Job Title: Adult Outpatient Licensed Therapist

Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist to join our Adult Behavioral Health Program team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person mental health services to individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI).
  • Work closely with other providers on the adult outpatient team, including other therapists, skills trainers, case managers, peer support specialists, prescribers, and supported employment and education specialists.
  • May act as a lead clinician providing clinical consultation and assistance to interns and other staff members.
  • Provide individual and group therapy to individuals using a variety of evidence-based practices as clinically indicated.
  • Develop and implement specific services in the community.
  • Act as a task supervisor for interns and staff, provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals, to perform various advanced, specialized clinical and treatment services for individuals receiving services and their families.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field; OR Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; AND one year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • State of Oregon licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC) or Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT).
  • Must not be excluded from participation in the federal health care programs (Medicaid, Medicare and other federally funded programs that provide health benefits); AND must not be excluded from participating in federal procurement (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and non-procurement activities (Executive Order No).
  • Must possess a current driver's license in the applicant's state of residence and an acceptable driving history.
Working Conditions:
  • Operates a motor vehicle; sees using depth perception; stands; sits; moves about the work area; climbs one floor of stairs; lifts, pushes, pulls, and carries up to 15 lbs.; operates a keyboard; speaks with a clear and audible voice; reads at 12-pt. font; hears a normal speech level; works in areas that may be exposed to heat, cold, humidity, dust, smoke, noise, and household cleaning chemicals; works in areas that may be wet or uneven.
