**Job Summary**
Astrix Technology is seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Process Safety Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our processes.
**Responsibilities**
* Manage the site Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) schedule to ensure timely completion
* Create and/or revise PHA documents for new and existing processes
* Ensure that all necessary information is available prior to PHA, including batch records, drawings, and process safety data
* Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) on new and existing processes using various methodologies, such as hazards and operability (HAZOP) or PSRA process
* Manage and track PHA action plans to ensure timely implementation
* Assist in the development of, provide oversight to, and conduct audits of Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
* Aid in the development of the site's process safety program as required
* Provide mentoring and training for site personnel in process safety and risk assessment
* Participate in the implementation of new products and processes for manufacturability, including tech transfer
* Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for pertinent incidents and near misses
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment, protecting employees and visitors
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related discipline
* Minimum 5 years' experience in API pharmaceuticals or chemical process industry
* Participation in or leading of PHAs
