About the Job

As a CT Technologist II at Houston Methodist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and executing above-average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of routine to complex diagnostic CT procedures, including common and special CT exams of high difficulty.
  • Work as a member of the direct patient care team, providing direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic or special CT procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
  • Mentor and educate CT Technologist I and students, utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines, ensuring the protection of patients, staff, and the general public.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-THR, CNMT, ARRT-CT, CMRT, and BLS certifications.
