Job Summary:

Fleet Diesel Mechanic - Equipment Repair Specialist

Walpole, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Okeechobee, FL terminal. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure our fleet runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine problems, including after-treatment issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
• Participate in safety and educational training programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in vehicle/equipment maintenance
• ASE/EVT certifications preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred but not required)
