As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing O-Level Corrosion control on 5th generation Fighter Jets (F-35 Aircraft) and conducting Outer Mold Line (OML) inspections, coating system repair, and corrosion control inspections.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform O-Level Corrosion control on F-35 Aircraft
- Conduct OML inspections, coating system repair, and corrosion control inspections
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with Maintenance Operation Center (MOC) to ensure timely return of aircraft to mission capable status
- Plan and coordinate shop workload and dispatch personnel as required
- Ensure that assigned personnel have access to and use adequate technical data during all phases of aircraft maintenance
- Secret clearance
- F-35, F-16, F-18, or F-22 experience
- Buck rivets, remove and replace panels, replace gate channels
- Corrosion Control, Corrosion Prevention
- CDI/CDQAR
- $13,500 relocation bonus
- $8,500 relocation bonus paid out on first payroll
- $5,000 sign on bonus after 90 days of employment
- 14 Days of initial housing provided
- 5 Paid Floating Holidays
- Able to participate in the company's retirement plan following 90 days of service in accordance with company policy
- One solo employee annual round trip fare back to the United States following six months of employment
Will be at Marine Corp. Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan
