We are seeking a skilled RN - Hematology/Oncology to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, and S. Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support.
1 year experience in Pediatric unit.
