Job Title: Night Facility Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at The Facilities Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the facility in good condition.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and stock restrooms to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins to prevent litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Remove debris and snow from sidewalks to ensure safe access to the facility.
  • Lock doors and arm alarms to secure the facility after hours.
  • Clean up spills and messes using appropriate equipment.
  • Notify supervisors or managers of any major repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Keep cleaning supplies in stock to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with contract cleaning services as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns to supervisors or managers.
  • Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
