Job SummaryWe're seeking a driven Lead X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, explaining procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Prepare images for reading by a Radiologist.
- Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow.
- Attend staff and departmental meetings.
- Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests.
