Job Summary

Morrow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Erection Superintendent to oversee the erection, climbing, and dismantling activities in our district. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of erection/dismantling crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct jobsite meetings to discuss project plans, timelines, and safety protocols.
  • Provide guidance to erection crews, mobile crane suppliers, shipping companies, and other professionals on tower crane and personnel/material hoist applications.
  • Identify and mitigate jobsite hazards, including ground conditions, powerline clearances, and weather conditions.
  • Prepare and conduct lift plans, JSA's, and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supervise and conduct re-torquing activities, crane and hoist repair, and equipment loading/unloading.
  • Ensure the maintenance, inspection, and preventative maintenance of tools, rigging, and PPE.
  • Manage crane and hoist operators, including training and certification.
  • Represent Morrow in a professional manner, adhering to company policies, OSHA, and ASME safety standards.
Requirements
  • Tower Crane Operator, Rigging, and Signal Person certification (NCCCO or equivalent).
  • OSHA 30 training and current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Valid State driver's license and insurability by Morrow's carrier.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to jobsites, exposure to varying weather conditions, and potential hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Morrow's safety policies and procedures.
