About the Position: As a Director of Medical Operations, you will be responsible for assisting our Chief Medical Director in directing and coordinating medical management, quality improvement, and credentialing functions for our business unit. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Develop and implement medical management strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement quality improvement initiatives that address regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Provide medical expertise to support the effective operation of approved quality improvement and utilization management programs.
  • Support the Chief Medical Director in planning and establishing goals and policies to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care and services for our members.

Requirements: Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree required. Utilization management experience and knowledge of quality accreditation standards preferred. Actively practices medicine. Course work in the areas of Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, and/or Personnel Management is advantageous. Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse population preferred.
