About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations, guide team members, and ensure a seamless workflow. This is a great opportunity to grow within Capstone Logistics and work towards a leadership position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure team participation in stretching exercises.
  • Perform safety observations and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and staff.
  • Oversee yard marshalling and ensure consistent workflow in designated areas.
  • Learn all aspects of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading.
  • Work independently or in teams with minimal supervision.
  • Engage positively with customers and delivery personnel.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or handle pallets by hand.

Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate Freight Operations:
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and seamless transitions.
  • Optimize Supply Chains:
  • Monitor logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Communicate Effectively:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Schedule and Track Shipments:
  • Use logistics software to plan, monitor, and update shipment status in real time.
  • Problem-Solve:
  • Handle unexpected challenges like delays or route changes with quick thinking and proactive solutions.
  • Maintain Documentation:
  • Ensure accurate records of shipments, invoices, and reports for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Collaborate:
  • Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and managers to ensure a unified approach to logistics operations.
