Job Overview

CMI Group Aerospace & Defense is seeking to employ CNC Milling Specialists to enhance our production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load materials and components into CNC machinery and execute programming tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including fluid checks and chip removal.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Implement minor adjustments to programs, focusing on tool offsets.
  • Replace worn or damaged tooling, including inserts and drills.
  • Complete necessary documentation for parts processing.
  • Handle parts with care and maintain accurate identification for traceability.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proficient in machine operation and part holding techniques.
  • Understanding of machine maintenance protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including dimensions and tolerances.
  • Familiarity with basic inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC programming language.
  • Experience with tooling installation and removal.
  • Adherence to company-specific handling and identification protocols.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training.
  • Minimum age of 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
