About the Role

Glen Burnie Dental Care is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our team's mission of delivering outstanding dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough dental cleanings and screenings to patients
  • Conduct patient education on oral health and hygiene practices
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Maryland
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
