Job Summary

The LPN Care Specialist provides direct day-to-day care to patients and families of Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. This role is responsible for implementing the patient's plan of care, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, and functioning as a member of the Patient Care Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide population-specific care to meet the developmental needs of patients served
  • Travel to outlying areas in the Conemaugh Health System for required education
  • Collaborate with the Patient Care Team to implement the patient's plan of care
  • Practice to the fullest extent of licensure in accordance with organizational policies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program
  • Current PA LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia Course within six (6) months of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six (6) months of hire
