Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse will include:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A current, unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio
- At least one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in an acute care or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of hire
