Job Summary

Homestead Home Health Care Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide care to our residents in a supportive and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering genuine relationships and promoting a sense of community.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping and infection control procedures.
  • Report any changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working with the elderly.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Every other weekend is required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid Driver's license or ID.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
