Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the daily production schedule as directed by the Foreman or Plant Manager.
  • Perform tasks associated with panel production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
  • Install rebar and strands as required.
  • Pour and finish concrete.
  • Remove panels upon completion.
  • Repair and patch panels as necessary.
  • Enhance housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment consistently.
  • Complete assigned daily preventive maintenance tasks, including tool upkeep.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures to optimize labor and material usage.
  • Support the Foreman in identifying discrepancies in the daily plan.
  • Facilitate cross-training among team members.
  • Promote quality at the source.
  • Be responsible for tools and machinery in your designated area.
  • Notify relevant personnel of maintenance issues requiring attention.
Accountability Areas:
  • Understand and adhere to company safety policies and promote compliance.
  • Support PDM's objectives of being a Low-Cost Producer and High-Quality Provider.
  • Focus on enhancing productivity while reducing material costs without compromising quality.
  • Contribute to transforming the shop floor culture towards Continuous Improvement and Accountability.
  • Demonstrate reliability through excellent attendance.
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Identify, understand, and report safety hazards and unsafe behaviors immediately.
  • Report all incidents to the Plant Manager and complete necessary documentation.
  • Maintain daily 5S compliance.
  • Review work areas with the Foreman.
  • Participate in safety training and programs.
  • Understand and follow company policies regarding safety training.
Quality Focus:
  • Aim for minimal quality variance.
  • In the event of a quality issue, assist in identifying the root cause and ensure it is addressed to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge and Skills: Experience in the precast industry or construction is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs, crawling, climbing ladders, and working long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
