Noland Health Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Resident Care: Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and plan of care.
- Support Activities Department: Assist with planning and implementing activities and programs for residents, including recreational activities, social events, and educational programs.
- Document Resident Information: Accurately document resident information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate with Residents and Families: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure that resident needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Participate in Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or obtain certification within 4 months of hire.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Two (2) years experience in long term care preferred.
- Skills: Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills within thirty days of employment. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
