Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary
The Medical Technologist - Registered is a key member of our laboratory team, responsible for performing laboratory procedures as ordered by a provider. This role involves working as a generalist in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis, with a focus on providing technical support to Medical Laboratory Technicians, providers, and other internal staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests from all Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin locations in any or all departments.
- Perform quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance functions.
- Collect specimens and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or related science.
- Valid certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT).
