Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity at A-Line Staffing Solutions

A-Line Staffing Solutions is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This is a full-time position with 40+ hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to work in primary care settings with patients aged 18 months and older. The successful candidate will provide holistic, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. This will involve education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.

Responsibilities
  • Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
  • Assess patients during intake and take vital signs
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKG and Retinopathy screening
  • Perform Point of Care testing, including COVID testing
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed LPN
  • Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
  • Ability to take vital signs and perform basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required
