We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Architect / Senior Data Analyst to support our National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) organization. NSIN is dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration among DoD Mission Partners, Academia, Industry, new ventures & entrepreneurs, private capital investors, and other national security stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, administrative, and organizational skills. The role requires building ongoing rapport and interacting seamlessly across a broad range of individuals, including members of the Senior Management Team, government contractors, Federal civilian and military employees, and cross-government stakeholders.

Responsibilities include providing guidance on Salesforce functionality to address business needs for +300 end users, working with federal government and DoD organizations leadership to establish suitable processes, designing scalable robust solutions on the Salesforce platform, communicating solution options to business owners/stakeholders, and driving solution creation activities by collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as primary system administrator for the Lightning Salesforce.com environment, handling all basic administrative functions, maintaining custom objects, custom buttons/actions, formulas, validation rules, flows, workflows, process builders, approvals, and assignment rules. Additionally, they will complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades, manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations, provide technical guidance to our application development team, advise and mentor diverse internal and vendor teams, collaborate with developers in setting standards and driving quality coding practices, and establish technical best practices.

This role requires strong web development skills, including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Scripting Languages, DHTML, SOAP and AJAX, as well as experience with Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, SOQL & SOSL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Salesforce Solutions Architect experience, including a detailed understanding of CRM core and integrated application architecture, and 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator in a Lightning org.

A salary of $135-150k/annually is offered for this position, which includes the opportunity to work in a hybrid schedule, including remote and our Crystal City, VA headquarters office or NY Metro Area. US Citizenship is required, and must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance or above; active DoD Secret Clearance or above preferred. Salesforce.com certifications are also preferred.
