Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Hospital Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications within the hospital setting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively under the guidance of a licensed Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately prepares and dispenses medications, including mixing pharmaceutical compounds and labeling containers.
2. Manages inventory by receiving, storing, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Assists in the preparation of sterile intravenous (IV) solutions, adhering to strict safety protocols.
4. Maintains cleanliness and sterility of equipment and workspaces in accordance with established procedures.
5. Completes necessary documentation and reporting as required by hospital policies.
6. Processes routine medication orders and addresses any prescription-related inquiries.
7. Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
2. Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
3. Active registration with the relevant State Board of Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Health Care, or a related discipline.
