Job Summary

The Physical Therapist I/II / Advanced Physical Therapist I/II position at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide quality physical therapy services to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatients and outpatients, ages ranging from birth through geriatric.
  • Manage and implement the Physical Therapy program, including continuing quality improvement, risk management, and safety.
  • Assume direction and development of the physical therapy section, including staff education and reporting.
  • Provide specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, high school clinic, functional clinic, spinal cord clinic, and assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation/treatment.

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is a JCAHO accredited health center serving a 4,400 square mile area and providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Valid, current, full and unrestricted license in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Meet requirements to be credentialed to serve on the Medical Staff.
