Pet Groomer

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to provide exceptional care and attention to our furry clients at Pet Supplies Plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-notch grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning for pets
• Groom and style pets according to owner instructions and/or breed standards
• Ensure the safety of pets and team members by following all company safety policies
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that promote pet health and happiness
• Participate in community outreach to attract new clients and promote our store
• Utilize our in-store scheduling tool to manage appointments and provide excellent customer service
• Perform routine cleaning to maintain a clean and inviting grooming environment

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods
• Ability to provide own equipment (clippers, blades, scissors, etc.)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be at least 18 years old
