Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a CT Scanner Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment to perform complex imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans accurately per established protocols and patient safety standards.
Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in sequence of exposure.
Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
Charge procedures and supplies in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Dispense and order oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients and their families for CT scans.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work.

Requirements

BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute.
Primary ARRT certification required within one year of graduation from a program of study.
ARRT certification is required.
ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field is required.
State license is required.
