Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Advanced Rigger to join our team. As an Advanced Rigger, you will be responsible for assembling and operating rigging equipment to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and operate rigging equipment, including cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
- Assist in selecting and attaching grappling devices to loads.
- Provide direction to crane operators and hoisting engineers engaged in hoisting and moving loads.
- Set up and operate braces and rigs for hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
- Experience in rigging and hoisting operations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
