Radiologic Imaging Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant to join our team at QuickVisit Urgent Care. The ideal candidate will have a certificate with ARRT and experience in providing basic clinical care to patients.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical care to patients, including performing initial evaluations and directed procedures for urgent care procedures.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care.
• Perform x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Assist with patient check-in/out procedures, obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, and provide timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results.

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the clinic.
• Complete and sign patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety during radiologic procedures.

• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program or LMRT program.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligibility and a current Iowa license.
• Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
