We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Float Pool team at Mass General Brigham. As a Float Medical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in various practices across the South Shore, providing clinical support and ensuring efficient patient flow.
Responsibilities- Assist with office visits, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing procedures as directed.
- Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, such as administrative support, phone calls, and coordination of care.
- Maintain neat and clean exam rooms and patient care areas.
- Interact with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal medical assistant training program required.
- CPR certification from a program approved by the American Heart Association required.
- National Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Clinical support experience in primary care and/or specialty care settings preferred.
