Job Overview:

The Overnight Cleaning Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas of the facility. This role is essential in upholding a sterile environment to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections. Duties include:

  • Performing thorough cleaning of patient and non-patient areas, including offices, common spaces, waiting areas, entrances, patient rooms, and restrooms.
  • Utilizing standard cleaning protocols and chemicals in accordance with a structured cleaning process.
  • Demonstrating respect and consideration for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Successful completion of a stringent criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Completion of all necessary healthcare screenings and immunizations.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
