About the Role

The Mississippi Lime company is seeking a skilled Lubrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper lubrication of all equipment throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper lubrication of all plant equipment to prevent mechanical breakdowns and ensure optimal production levels.
• Monitor lubrication needs using ultrasonic technology and maintain accurate records of lubrication points.
• Perform routine skilled plant and equipment inspections to identify potential issues and report any deficiencies.
• Assist maintenance and production employees with various tasks, including service and repairs as needed.
• Enter work requests for preventative maintenance and perform ultrasonic thickness testing on critical equipment.
• Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year Industrial Maintenance degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of rotating mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, and vibrating screens.
• Power transmission devices, including gear drives and belt drives.
• MSHA MLC requirements regarding housekeeping and lubrication compliance.

Working Conditions

• Ability to operate a variety of mobile equipment, including Bobcat, Forklifts, Man Lifts, Haul Trucks, and Front-end loaders.
• Perform work at heights requiring safety tie-off.
• Read and understand manuals and drawings.
