Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as an Echocardiogram Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms for adult and pediatric patients, as well as assisting with stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms for adult and pediatric patients
  • Assist with stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Operate and maintain various echocardiogram equipment, including Philips Epiqs, Affinity's, and IE33's
  • Utilize reporting systems, such as Epiq Cupid and Sectra Cardiology PACS
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program with at least three years of experience
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • RDCS (PE) or RCS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a 500-bed hospital with 5 outpatient clinic rooms. The dress code is grey scrubs or provided light blue scrubs. The unit/department is staffed at two separate campuses, with a rotation between the two campuses. The orientation program will take no longer than two weeks and will include training on protocol and expectations in the clinic and hospital settings.
