Radiologic Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality general radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging studies by selecting specific software parameters to produce quality images for radiologists.
  • Prepare and assist in administering contrast agents, ensuring compliance with departmental practices.
  • Effectively interact with Denver Health's PACS system, including data entry, image post-processing, and image archiving tasks.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following patient care guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining department inventory and equipment, including ordering, stocking, and performing inventory checks.
Requirements:
  • Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program Required
  • Less than 1 year of professional work experience in performing general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required and RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required
