Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build complex applications utilizing your expertise in software development.
  • Working closely with Product Managers and Designers to create user-friendly experiences from the outset.
  • Communicating effectively with client engineers on iOS and Web to ensure seamless integration.
  • Promoting a disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation, and code structure within a team setting.
  • Leading the development and ownership of large user-facing features/epics from design to implementation and launch.
  • Guiding app architecture to align with industry best practices and engineering excellence.
  • Playing a key role in elevating the team's technical skills and efficiency.
  • Contributing to code reviews and writing automated tests to maintain high standards.
You Should Have:
  • 5+ years of relevant backend development experience.
  • A deep understanding of modern web app best practices, APIs, and microservices.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to mentor teammates.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Postgres or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of concurrency theories and implementations.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Python web development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Skills in scaling high-growth systems and diagnosing performance bottlenecks.
  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • Experience with Docker containerization.
  • Knowledge of Celery task queues.
  • Familiarity with WebSockets technology.
  • Background in mobile development.
  • Experience with Datadog monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of Amplitude analytics.
  • Ability to design user interfaces on Figma.

This senior software engineer position comes with an estimated annual salary range of $165,000 to $210,000, along with full benefits and stock options. Compensation packages are tailored to each candidate's unique qualifications, experience, and skills.
