Job Summary:

Soliant Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require speech, language, and communication support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide high-quality therapy sessions tailored to the needs of each student, with a focus on promoting effective communication and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing recommendations for services and accommodations to support student success.
  • Educate and support students, families, and school staff on speech and language development and disorders, promoting a culture of understanding and support.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to inform your practice and improve student outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
