We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Therapeutic Associates. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment) and obtain data related to the interventions provided.
- Provide quality physical therapy services, including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient's physical therapist.
- Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist's prescribed course of treatment.
- Communicate the patient's treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow-up to team members as appropriate.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice.
- AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
